See Bernoulli's Principle in Action With a Self-Sucking Vacuum

It's no secret that we love YouTuber The Action Lab. In the past, he has brought us experiments where he boiled water with his bare hands and made water droplets dance on a flat surface.

Now, he is back with a vacuum experiment that is just as fun as all the rest of his clips. In this experiment, he uses a long tube to vacuum up some styrofoam balls simply by twirling the tube into the air.

The self-sucking vacuum sucks up the styrofoam balls and ejects them out the other side creating a rainfall of styrofoam balls. The YouTuber explains that you need to put a cup at the end of the tube with wholes in it in order to capture the styrofoam balls.

He also explains that this experiment works thanks to Bernoulli's principle. What is that? It is a principle that states that as the fluid velocity increases the pressure decreases.

Have we piqued your curiosity yet? Do you want to know how this principle works in action and how it allows the YouTuber to build a vacuum? Do you want to see the styrofoam balls sucked up and flown around? Then, do not miss our latest video.
